Arrow Medical Ltd, Kington, Herefordshire HR5 3RB Arrow Medical's manufacturing services extend from silicone injection moulding, textile processing and radio frequency welding to complete clean room assembly, contract packaging and global logistics support for the sterile supply chain. Complete products are manufactured to ISO 13485 and FDA GMP standards for cardiology, anaesthesiology, vascular systems, emergency trauma, breathing & safety equipment. This covers design support, production engineering and advanced quality systems supporting the whole manufacturing process with batch sample verification, life testing, and frequent auditing to meet stringent clinical standards. Arrow Medical manufactures anaesthesiology products using combinations of metals, various elastomers and polymers. Arrow also builds safety critical complex components for emergency breathing apparatus and assembles tubing sets ready for gamma and ETO sterilisation. Arrow Medical's Kington site provides a high quality, secure environment. Arrow clean room assembly capacity has recently doubled, and the silicone moulding facilities use the latest moulding techniques, including both LSR injection moulding and compression moulding, supported by local sub-assembly and advanced metrology to ensure efficient and reliable production. Duplex clean rooms provide security and backup resources. Arrow Medical can cut, sew, weld, bond and glue textiles, with assembly in complex forms, to meet orthopaedics, wound management and emergency care requirements. Radio frequency (RF) welding enables the production of inflatables, bags, pouches, and other flexible products or components that hold air, special gases and/or liquids in 'leak-free' environments. Arrow Medical serves major medical device brand names providing a reliable service covering the whole production process. This includes cost down, quality improvement, volume production, labelling, production warehouse and transport logistics with known consignor status right through the sterile chain to serve the customer's distribution system, and clinical destinations worldwide.
