Lloydspharmacy Sponsors Ricoh Stand

PHARMACY chain Lloydspharmacy has agreed to become a new stand sponsor at the Coventry City’s Ricoh Arena as part of its tie-in with the football club.

myM-link member Lloyds, based in Walsgrave, has also agreed to a three-year extension of its deal to be the club’s official healthcare partner. The stand sponsorship will see it take over from technology services company talent.

Knowsley Telehealth Pilot helps Cardiac Patients and saves £185,000

Nursing Times reports on the success of the ‘Knowsley Health and Wellbeing’ pilot for patients with Heart Failure and Cardiovascular Disease. 

Patients used the Docobo HealthHUB® to measure a 20-second ECG Rhythm strip along with daily blood pressure and Oxygen readings.  This information was transmitted via the doc@HOME® server to the clinicians who were then able to assess patients to determine their need for a full ECG.  The project showed overall improvements in patients’ cardiovascular health and “significant” psychological benefits from being able to recuperate outside of the hospital setting.

Docobo offers Oz client management

UK telehealth firm Docobo Ltd has announced an exclusive deal to distribute ComCare, an Australian community care client management system.

The ComCare product has been developed, and is widely used by, Silver Chain - a Western Australia-based, not for profit, charity that provides district nursing and care services to 40,000 clients annually.

ComCare is a client management application designed for community and residential health care organisations.

HPCMy M-Link member Zantra Technology have achieved success with HPC-NHS via their Networker presence based collaboration system.

 

HPC, the NHS collaborative procurement hub for the West Midlands, Luton and selected trusts in London chose to have a hosted NetWorker service with their own IT administrators controlling user’s accounts on their private network and the ability to add and remove people both inside and outside the organisation as needed.
