myM-link member 'Surgins' has been recognised in the Middle East Hospital Health and Innovation Awards for their range of stainless steel and titanium surgical instruments. The Solihull based British company scooped an award for 'The most innovative products for export'. The award, which recognises suppliers of medical equipment to the Middle East region, was presented by renowned surgeon and UK Government healthcare ambassador, Lord Darzi. The ceremony for the inaugural Health and Innovation Awards in Dubai was hosted by the Arab region’s leading healthcare monthly, Middle East Hospital magazine (MEH). Editor of MEH, Guy Rowland said: "These awards recognize the contribution of companies from across the globe to healthcare services in the Middle East and the benefits their products have provided for hospitals, clinicians and patients in the region. The Arab countries import the vast majority of their medical devices and healthcare products and the introduction of high quality, innovative new technologies by medical equipment manufacturers has played a major role in the ongoing revolution in healthcare provision taking place in the Middle East." Created by British surgeons, 'Surgins' aim is to carry a global reputation for surgical instruments of outstanding quality, precision and cost-effectiveness on the basis of profound surgical wisdom. |
