Jim Lavery Participates In A Charity Bike Ride

As you may well have heard in the media there is a huge fundraising campaign to raise money to build a new state of the art, Marie Curie hospice in Solihull to replace the current premises that have served Solihull and the South Midlands for many, many years.

As part of the campaign there is a sponsored cycle ride from Birmingham to Paris over four days from 15-19 September in which I will be participating along with many other brave souls. The ride means cycling well over 100km/day and will be a challenge for everyone.

The cause, as you will know, is a very good one and I hope that alongside the other requests for charitable sponsorship that come across your desks you can make a contribution on this occasion. Any donation will be very gratefully received by Marie Curie and by me. I should add that I will be covering the cost of participating in the cycle ride myself so every penny you contribute will go straight to Marie Curie. My Justgiving web site is
