55245 Design, Build, Manage and/or Operate a Private Patients Unit


The awarding authority is seeking on-site re-provision of a Private Patient Unit by a commercially sound and experienced provider to replace the existing Private Patient Unit. The term of the contract will, subject to satisfactory performance, be between a minimum of 3 years, and a maximum of 25 years. Within that minimum and maximum timeframe, the contract period may either (in the alternative) consist of a fixed-term contract, or it may consist of a fixed period contract with an option to extend - based upon performance.

The estimated value of the contract has been based on the anticipated revenue per annum of approx 10 million GBP.
