Tender for the supply of antenatal Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Screening and / or Glycated Haemoglobin Measurement (Lab Based and Point of Care Diabetes Management)

  • LOT 1 – Analysers capable of accommodating a high throughput of tests for both the screening of Antenatal Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia and the measurement of Glycated Haemoglobin and their associated reagents, equipment and consumables.
  • LOT 2 – Point of Care Measurement for Diabetes Management and their associated reagents, equipment and consumables.
  • LOT 3 - Analysers capable of accommodating a high throughput of tests for the measurement of Glycated Haemoglobin only, and their associated reagents, equipment and consumables.

Quantity or Scope:

Precise quantities are unknown and will also depend on the number of suppliers appointed. Whilst it is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of GBP 8 000 000 to GBP 18 000 000 for this contract award this is approximate only and the values will be to such level as those purchasing under the framework consider necessary to provide suitable requirements.
