Specialist Restorative Clinical Assessment Service will recieve referrals from participating general dental practicioners
Once the examination has been completed a comprehensive treatment plan will be drawn up and the patient will be directed to whichever NHS provider is most appropriate for completion of the treatment.
Objectives
* To provide a clinical triage of referral letters for patients referred to the Milton Keynes Restorative Specialist Service.
* To direct incomplete or inappropriate referrals back to the GDP
* To provide a specialist restorative assessment for all patients who are appropriately referred
* To draw up a holistic treatment plan for each patient assessed so that treatment can be completed by the most appropriate NHS provider.
* To re-direct the patient to their GDP or the Milton Keynes NHS specialist Restorative Dental Service as appropriate
