55946 Collaboration: Device for Mechanical Testing of segments of human body (e.g. spine vertebrae)


Czech group of university scientists has developed device for mechanical testing of functional segments of human body. The device is applicable in medical and biomechanical fields to determine the mechanical properties of human body elements such as spine vertebrae enabling improvements in designing of fixators and substitutions for patients undergoing surgical treatments. Industrial partners such are sought for licence agreement.
