56430 Usability / User Experience Service Provider for NHS Direct


NHS Direct wish to appoint a usability / user experience Service Provider to undertake a variety of user experience / usability project work over the next 4 years., The appointed service provider will work with the NHS Direct Multi Channel team on user experience projects across all its digital channels (including web, mobile and ipTV). Work with the selected service provider will be on a call-off order basis. For each piece of work NHS Direct will require the service provider to operate using Prince 2 project management methodology.

 Full documentation and project reporting is a requirement for each specific piece of work and is to be delivered by the appointed company to the appropriate NHS Direct contact. Service providers must have the ability to provide a full range of usability services as follows. User centered design, Expert usability reviews / evaluations, Accessibility audits / reviews, Eye tracking, Training, Rapid deployment of remote user testing.

NHS Direct requires the service provider to have facilities to conduct one to one user testing in multiple locations throughout England so as to ensure we can reach as many of our audience segments as possible. The Service Provider must have remote viewing availability for all user testing and have the ability to work on up to 4 simultaneous projects with NHS Direct at any one time period.
