56433 Mobility Management Solution including a Web-enabled Package Calculator


The contracting authority's purpose is to build engagement and trust for the UK through the exchange of knowledge and ideas between people worldwide. It seeks to achieve its aims by working in education, science, governance, English and the arts.

In 2007-08, its programmes reached a total audience of 128 million people worldwide. The awarding authority is looking to purchase an integrated international mobility management solution including a web-enabled package calculator (software) and all relevant country data to support the International Mobility Management team manage its roughly 300 strong assignee population located in 110 countries.

Basic functionality of the software tool will include but is not limited to:

— Calculation and storage of international assignment package calculations, including overseas allowances, and assignment costing calculations of different lengths, including temporary promotions and temporary postings,

— Calculation of home and host tax liability for its staff working overseas,

— Extensive reporting functionalities (pre-set and ad-hoc),

— Administrative functionality such as reminders, mail-merge, attachment of documents to each staff entry etc,

— Restriction of user access/permission settings,

— The ability to model different scenarios based on various country combinations and all tax tables and country costing tables required for this.
