A Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust wishes to develop one or more strategic partnerships to assist with the provision and management of its medical equipment asset base.
The current value of the Trust's medical devices is in excess of 100 000 000 pounds, with an estimated capital replenishment programme of 8 to 10 000 000 pounds per annum. the Trust is currently in the process of upgrading a significant proportion of its radiotherapy equipment as well as its gamma cameras. These, together with the ultrasound imaging equipment will be considered in Phase 1 of this contract.
The Trust is looking for a partner who is capable of providing a wide range of medical devices and associated services including:
1. Diagnostic, Ultrasound equipment., Imaging equipment including Xray, CT, MRI, gamma cameras, catheterisation laboratories and fluoroscopic devices.
2. Therapeutic, Radiotherapy services to include linear accelerators and associated planning and monitoring equipment.
3. Mobile medical devices, Mobile medical devices including patient monitoring, life support equipment and anaesthesia equipment.
We are preferably looking for a partner who can act as a single provider under a framework agreement although the Trust reserves the right to review each incremental step in the equipment base and award the contract in lots.
The term of the contract is anticipated to be 15 years.
